I am so thankful the Lord has been providing me with all my needs. Before I came to Wildwood many people wondered how I would survive and they were genuinely worried about me. All I can say is if the Lord is calling you somewhere, don't hesitate just go. And just because you don't see how He will provide, is not a reason to not move forward. And what is survival....many of us think its having a nice car, a nice home, all the gadgets we can desire and a few dollars for missions. The scripture says "foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head." Matthew 8:20. He also sent the desciples out saying take nothing (Matthew 10:5-10) and when they returned He asked if they lacked anything (Luke 22:35). "Nothing" they replied. I can say by Gods grace I have lacked nothing during my ministry here at Wildwood. Phone, computer, shelter, food and even friends. God has always provided for His children and He always will. In reality there is not much sacrifice compared to what many have done overseas with sickness, famine, disease and so much more. But being where the Lord has called us to is the best and happiest place anyone will want to be. So what about that genuine worry that could have prevented me from coming to Wildwood? Well, they give me a cell phone, a lap top, a brand new home, travel expenses to meetings I enjoy like GYC, ASI, and the General Conference. And the issue that caused more worry than any other was how will I pay for my student loans? In the last few days a group of influential individuals united together and voted to contribute $450.00 per week to pay off my loans. Lord thank you for provided for all my needs and by your grace I will continue to serve. It's hard work, but you have confirmed the call.
